Rearranging the landscape

2019

Acrylic, ink, maps from Finland, cardboard

The places we lived

the deep dark ones

the everyday issues

a flicker of light, a sensation of the spiritual,

barely within reach or life-changing proportions

We constantly apply our own meaning on to the landscape, but when reading the map, where did it all go, surely there must be traces, surely the grounds must shake and the mountains tremble

and they did

it just all took place in a different kind of landscape

This is a collection of maps of the wild within
